New social housing development for Ennis
Clare County Council has announced the recent appointment of consultants for the design of a new social housing development at Drumcliff, Ennis, County Clare.
The proposed 26-unit development, estimated at €6,279,889, is to be funded by the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage.
The initial design in relation to the proposed social housing scheme will comprise of 4 four-bed units, 6 three-bed units, 14 two-bed units, and 2 two-bed units (specially adapted).
The proposed housing units will be designed to a high standard.
The project design team, managed by the Social Development Directorate of Clare County Council, comprises Vincent Hannon Architects (architects), P Coleman & Associates (civil and structural engineers), Matt O’Mahony Consulting Engineers (mechanical and electrical engineers) and Tom McNamara & Partners (quantity surveyors).
